About Task Force Trident

Task Force Trident (TFT) was founded in September 2022 with a leadership team that collectively has 20+ years of military and private sector leadership experience.

Our active squadrons currently include 14th FS, 354th FS, and 391st US Air Force squadrons.  On the USA Army Side, we have the 1-101st A. Company.  In addition to our active squadrons we have auxiliary squadrons that support active squadrons on an as-needed basis.  These include 22nd STS (CCT/AWACS), 53rd AW (C-130), 17-101st B. Troop (OH-58D), and 5-101st D. Co (CH-47).  All our squadrons work to support the mission of Task Force Trident: to conduct DCS operations in the most realistic manner possible within the confines of the simulator utilizing the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) that the US Army & Air Force utilize to project power globally.

The members of TFT hail from all walks of life and we leverage these experiences to build a dedicated and cohesive team.  While many on our team have or currently serve in the military, many also have not.  The common attribute between our Managers, Team Leaders, USAF SNCOs, Engineers, and Air Traffic Controllers, is that we all seek to enjoy DCS in a serious manner that reflects real-world US military aviation operations.  We enjoy utilizing open-source publications as our foundation of informing or mission sets, procedures, and tactics because not only does it increase our immersion level of our operations, but it helps establish a strong baseline from which each and ever aviator can operate and grow.  Building a firm foundation that the entire time is based around builds cohesion and interoperability in addition to fostering operational effectiveness and is a core value within TFT.

Task Force Trident is not the right place for everyone.  Our brand of realistic military simulation (MILSIM) operations based on strong standards, TTPs, and can be seen as rigid or constraining by some.  If you do not like being told during a debrief did not go as well as it could/should have and there are areas for improvement, we are likely not the right community for you.  Learning and improving to yield downstream performance improvements is part of the enjoyment of DCS for the pilots of TFT, so being told where we have opportunities is part of the fun and growth!  If you are seeking our brand of realistic, open-world US Army & US Air Force military simulation you have found yourself a place to call home.  If you would like to learn more about Task Force Trident, please read through our Mission Statement, Code of Conduct, and Frequently Asked Questions pages.  We would also appreciate you checking out our Discord server & YouTube videos to get a feel about what we are all about.  If you believe we are the type of ground you are looking for, please submit an application.  We are looking forward to hearing from you.
